It's so nice to see another old home restored. Your lace curtains made me laugh. The first time I went to my now-husband's house, he still had the lace Grandma curtains in the kitchen left by the previous owner. He saw me glance at them and I know he was thinking he'd blown it. But as an old house owner myself, I completely understood! (Time, money, energy.) (Still, I got rid of them as soon as I could.) Good luck with the restoration. I'll be back to watch your progress! I applaud you for taking your house back to where it belongs. We bought an old (1895) house about seven months ago and are sort of doing a bit of the same. I think she (our house) is happier ;-) The built in in the bathroom is out of this world, as are your doors (I can't believe someone took those double ones down and banished them to the basement!
