I had a few free hours yesterday afternoon after Mom & Dad left and before I needed to send a barrage of e-mails to various work-related folks. So, like anyone with some free time on his hands, I started building a table out of 100+ year-old salvaged lumber. Wait – what? Let me back up.

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Two coats of oil-based glossy white paint turned a black pub mirror that we’ve had for years into a fresh piece for the entryway. There must be something wrong with the glass though, because it twists human faces into monstrosities. I’d better check Angie’s List for a local mirror guy.
