We went to our first estate sale this weekend, and man, what a blast. Not only did we get to poke around inside a 3-story Victorian in the main historic district (a walk-up attic! With a shuffleboard court!), but we could buy their stuff too. And we did, but only about $30 of it. Still, at estate sale prices, that was enough to fill a Hyundai’s trunk -

Es un fiesta grande! Muy bueno!

Oh, I love the shelf a lot! I went to a few estate sales yesterday too, and got quite a bit of goodies. It’s amazing what you can find when people just don’t have the room or love for it like we do!
Una. Sorry, blame it on OCD.
That bookcase looks beautiful. I’ve always found it a challenge to find bookcases that look good with the additional nail holes required to reinforce them. This one seems to have accomplished that quite well.
I went to my first estate sale today. In. Love. Will most likely never buy furniture new again. Picked up an art deco Lane Cedar chest that, while it needs some work, was still a steal. In fact, the auctioneer mentioned that I walked away with the deal of the day.
I love your bookshelf. I’ve been looking for one for quite awhile. Great deal!
